The Night Drinkers were launched in Spring 2013 but most of our music can be traced back to the early 1900s. Think of Geeshie Whiley, Robert Johnson and Skip James in the 1930s to Big Mama Thornton and Howlin' Wolf in the 50s. We are a trio of voice, keyboards and harmonica and have a powerful and embracing sound. John has been into the blues, and rhythm and blues, for a very long time, Sam and Zoe Grace only over the last 5 years. Sam was playing jazz, Zoe Grace has been singing world music, jazz and self penned material. The Night Drinkers is a joyful confluence of our talent and our passion. We love singing these old songs and bringing them back into circulation, where they are received with open arms.
