Formed in 2019 Danny and Gilles began writing songs and performing as a duo act called Jackie' Zone until the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic.

As they could not work together directly, they set about writing songs separately, and began planning a future as four-piece rock band.

They have been seen performing at almost every open mic in Norwich to help develop their stage craft. This led to acoustic sessions at such venues as the Bowling House, the Arboretum, the Merchant's House, the Green Dragon, the Brickmakers, the Longe Arms, Star Wing Brewery and a festival spot at Bannaroo Fest as well as the Folk off the Pier festival.



Following on from busking, open mics and acoustic sets, they have supported other local Norwich based bands such as Fierce Grace and the Lowtones.



The time came to add two new members to the band.

Mark joined in summer 2022 and played his first gig as a member of the Solarnites at the Bannaroo Fest. With plenty of experience from previous bands, Mark slotted perfectly with Danny and Gilles and added his buttery biscuit groovy baselines to their sound.



Finally, we come to our drummer Kat.

Kat has been involved in music since her teens playing in bands as a singer and guitarist, but has recently developed her skills as a drummer in her previous band. Kat's ability to hear a song for the first time and create a unique swinging backbeat impressed the guys who asked her to join the band on the spot.
