Formed in November 2023 in Norwich UK, the Solarnites have been working hard over the past nine months or so to hone their indie rock sound. Danny (lead singer and rhythm guitarist), Mark (lead guitarist), Ben (drums) & Jesus (bass guitar) have carefully blended their individual playing styles that perfectly compliment the band's compositions. A mixture of rock, funk and grunge drives the soaring choruses straight home with plenty of catchy vocal hooks and head pounding riffs for good measure.



Drawing lyrical inspiration from the dry wit of Artic Monkeys' Alex Turner and the bleak hope of Sam Fender, topped off with a healthy dose of early-90s ringing guitars, the Solarnites' debut single "Tell That To The Setting Sun", released on 17th August 2024, is an upbeat fist-pumping summer drive anthem that tackles the somber theme of "the fear of running out of time". Whether it is running out of time for love, time to travel or time to just purely succeed in life, it's a universal theme we can all at some point relate to.
