The Kegs

Lounge Punk and Old Wave 75 to 85

After a short but promising burn through the late 70s underground music scene from 1976 to 1979, The Kegs spectacularly split when lead singer Arthur Dogbasket sold out and announced he was leaving to Roadie for The Brotherhood of Man. After a short but lucrative court battle over the chord progression in the song Save All Your Kisses, Arthur claiming they pinched the tune from his self penned Wash All Your Dishes, Arthur had more money than he had ever dreamed of. The remaining 3 Kegs went their separate ways for over 30 years, appearing individually in a multitude of bands including Pine Cone, Breezy Trousers, Beef and Onions, and The Swivelled Eyed Loons. In 2015 they happened upon each other once more whilst all playing in separate electric oompah bands at Oktoberfest, where they were persuaded to reform to play a one off gig when headliners lederhosen were booed off stage for being too mainstream. The Kegs stormed the gig and the rest is history about to be made...
