The Sound of Pop Art comprises Chris Free (The Users, A Craze) on guitar and vocals, and Sammie Kempers (vocals). They adore crafting their exotic pop / soul / jazz-style songs, covering a variety of themes and ideas but with an over-arcing feeling of everyday escapism throughout. They also have a wide repertoire of covers, performed with their own twist.



Recording is another passion, with 6 previous releases (available on Spotify, BandCamp, Apple Music) with a further 3 track single due for release late 2025.



They enjoy performing anywhere and everywhere, from medieval courtyards and rural cafes, to seaside hotels and high street pubs. Most notably, this year they have been invited to perform by the John Peel Centre, and as part of Liverpool's International Pop Overthrow Festival at the legendary Cavern Club and Cavern Pub.



Performing mainly as an acoustic duo, they can also be a trio, four or five piece if required.



Available for performing at music venues, hotels, bars, cafes, festivals, restaurants, private parties, weddings, occasions or anywhere else you would like to treat your clients, family, friends or guests to a warm, witty, interesting musical experience.
