The Mill was built in 1757 as a water mill and attached miller’s cottage and over the years the building has gone through many uses. From a derelict mill in the late 1940’s the building has been changed and modified over the years from a private residence into the hotel pub restaurant we know today.



Now the Sculthorpe Mill is a lovely quirky hotel with great views out on to the river Wensum and the surrounding beautiful Norfolk Countryside. We have a fabulous 1st floor restaurant which can be hired out for weddings and events and our ales and wines are second to none. The Mill is located down a quiet country lane just off the A148 King’s Lynn Road just south of the village of Sculthorpe, near Fakenham. The perfect setting for a meal or just a drink at our unique riverside location.





We are open 364 days a year so pop in and see us for a chat, pick our brains about the local area, directions, a well-earned pint, flop on a bar stool, fill your belly with delicious food, sit on the best leather sofa ever, book your wedding or Christmas party, we have fantastic gardens, a big car park, Wi-Fi, a lovely river for your dog to swim in, we are bursting with wildlife, we have a beautiful restaurant and private dining room, meeting space, six en suite hotel bedrooms, a wedding licence, massive beer garden for the kids to stretch their legs in, award winning real ale. We have quiz nights and live music, we support the East Anglian Air Ambulance and always have charity events going on throughout the year.
