Formed in 1992 playing fifties and sixties rock 'n' roll and rockabilly, Dawg House played regularly for years at pubs, clubs and rockabilly venues in Norfolk and around the UK such as The Princess Charlotte in Leicester, The Thunderbird Club in Wellingborough, The George Robey in London, The Oval Rockhouse in Norwich and Bedlam Breakout in Northampton and many others, racking up hundreds of live performances.
Starting off as a 3 piece rockabilly band, the Dawg House line up changed a bit over the years at one point a 6 piece rock 'n' roll 'n' blues line-up with 2 guitars and 2 saxophones and straddled the scene between straight rock 'n' roll at pubs and clubs along with psychobilly and punk venues.
Dawg House made numerous appearances on radio and a couple of TV slots as well as interviews and features in magazines worldwide after several compilation album appearances and 3 of their own albums mainly featuring self-penned neo-rockabilly material.
The band supported many well-known names on the rockabilly & psychobilly scene such as The Jets, Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers, Restless, Frenzy, Batmobile, The Sharks, The Deltas, Demented Are Go, The Klingonz, Frantic Flintstones, Mad Sin, Long Tall Texans, The Hangmen, The Caravans and The Coffin Nails.
