UPDATE: Jacquii has recently been voted the best Tribute Artist of 2023 by The National Entertainment Awards and will be picking up her trophy and singing at the prestigious venue that is The 02 (Indigo Arena) in London in November 2024. Tickets go on sale later next year.

We saw the incredible Jacquii Cann perform as herself at our local, Copper Beech, on Friday 26th May 2023. I still fondly remember Jacquii's sensational performance as Alison Moyet on ITV's 'Stars in Their Eyes' back in 1993 and she is still as fantastic as ever. Jacquii was performing as herself but sweetly indulged us with several of both Alison Moyet and Yazoo's hits which she performed flawlessly. Regardless, however, of whether Jacquii was performing as herself or as Alison, her rich, gorgeous voice shone through and made every song a pleasure to listen to.
